To say goodbye to winter in the most spectacular way, Alta Badia turns back time once again. On April 5 and 6, 2026, the Ski Carousel Vintage Party takes center stage, an event celebrating the history of skiing and the authentic spirit of the Dolomites with a true journey into the golden age of the mountains.
For two days, slopes, mountain huts, and villages come together in one big retro celebration, where time seems to slow down, or even run backward.
A weekend out of time Known as the wildest and most iconic weekend of the winter season, the slopes of Alta Badia transform into a vintage ski party like no other: retro outfits, original gear, music, performances and an unstoppable desire to have fun. Every detail helps recreate the atmosphere of decades past, full of smiles, colors and that carefree spirit rooted in tradition. ​

On Saturday evening, from 6:00 PM to midnight, the center of La Villa is closed to traffic and turns into an authentic Vintage Village.
Soft lights, live music, and the creativity of local associations create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, bringing locals and guests together in a huge open-air party. It’s the perfect moment to experience the mountains in a different way, or simply the way it used to be, carried by collective joy and the pleasure of being together. ​

The vintage race | A dive into the ’70s and ’80s

Sunday morning kicks off with one of the most anticipated highlights: the vintage ski race on the La Para slope. Participation requires pre-1990s clothing and skis, no carving skis, only historic equipment and plenty of playful spirit.
A fun, eye-catching race that celebrates the evolution of skiing and brings the unmistakable vibe of the ’70s and ’80s back to the slopes. ​

Music and parties in the mountain huts

The party continues in the participating huts, Piz Boé Alpine Lounge, Ütia Crëp de Munt, Ütia Bioch, Ütia La Tambra, Ütia I Tablá, Ütia La Para, Club Moritzino, with music and entertainment until 4:30 PM.
The grand finale then moves to Corvara, with the official race awards ceremony and the closing party.

The magic doesn’t stop there. In the Pineta area, in the heart of Corvara, the Vintage After Party comes to life with food stalls and drink corners, created in collaboration with the Tennis Center and the Ice Stadium.
Music sets the mood for the last, unmissable night of the season, an unforgettable farewell to winter and a promise to meet again next year.

An event that’s more than just a party, it’s a collective ritual to close the season with style, smiles, and a whole lot of fun.
